I'm Phil, the founder of SportMinds. Growing up as an athlete myself, I often wished for guidance that went beyond drills and performance.
At the heart of SportMinds is a passion for helping young athletes grow — not just in sport, but as people.
I'm Phil, the founder of SportMinds. Growing up as an athlete myself, I often wished for guidance that went beyond drills and performance metrics — conversations that helped me navigate challenges, build resilience, and feel truly supported. Now, I’m dedicated to making that vision a reality for young athletes everywhere.
SportMinds was born from that belief. It’s more than just a tool — it’s a way to bring meaningful conversations into coaching, helping young people develop the skills to thrive in sport and in life. I’m proud to be part of a community that values connection, growth, and well-being, and I’m grateful to everyone who shares this journey with us.
Together, we’re not just building athletes — we’re shaping confident, resilient, and connected young people.
I have extensive experience in youth sports, ranging from grassroots programs to working with elite athletes on the world stage. For over 12 years, I’ve been immersed in strength and conditioning, working within schools, clubs, and national governing bodies. My experience spans supporting young people at various levels, helping them build physical and mental strength.
I also hold a qualification in counseling, an area I’m deeply passionate about. My interest in supporting athletes beyond performance drives my commitment to fostering personal growth alongside physical development. I believe that to truly support young athletes, we must focus on who they are as individuals — creating spaces where they feel valued, understood, and empowered.
